The latest paper from the Schier and Regev labs has been published in Nature Biotechnology: Spatial reconstruction of single-cell gene expression data. This paper develops a method to combine single-cell sequencing and spatial information (such as in situ hybridization) in order to understand the complete expression profiles of cells across a three-dimensional tissue.
