Chewie graduated in May and will soon begin a postdoctoral fellowship at the Bradley lab at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington.
Chewie has been awarded the Mahan Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Computational Biology Program at FHCRC, and will study the biology of retroelements, repetitive DNA sequences that constitute a large fraction of the human genome, and their interactions with RNA surveillance pathways such as nonsense-mediated decay.
Congratulations Chewie!
